The Office Is Leaving Netflix in 2021: Why, And How Can You Enjoy The Show

There is sad news for all you dear friends. Just forget about the issue Netflix not working on Smart TV, because that may be fixed though, but the heartbreaking news that we have come up with,  may really bring your heart to the mouth. The solution is population though, but that is also so much irritating. Everywhere in the media, this news is at one of the top priorities, and whosoever is knowing it, get shocked with surprising facial expression. Most of Netflix lovers very sad and around thousand of emails have been dropped to the Netflix official email address for requesting Netflix to look into the matter.

But, it is unfortunate to tell that it’s not the Netflix fault, and Netflix can only give a try to fix the issue. Netflix is trying it’s best to resolve the matter, but whether the matter will be resolved or not, can’t be taken as guaranteed. The only good thing here is that the users will start getting this issue from  2021. 

But, what the issue, the made everyone shocked. 

The NBC (National  Broadcasting Company) which is a commercial terrestrial television network under the flagship property of NBCUniversal, had made a contract with Netflix a few years back, according to which the famous season TV comedies that you know by the name “The Office” has been broadcasting on Netflix. It’s a very popular show and loved by almost all Netflix users. But a recent twitter post from  Netflix official Twitter account has confirmed that the contract between Netflix and NBC is going to be last in 2021, and since NBC is launching its own new ad-supported service in 2020. So, there is almost no chance that the contract between these two companies will be renewed any further. NBC’s streaming service will cost nothing for Traditional Pay TV subscribers, and it will cost around 10 USD per month for cord cutters. 

The Official Twitter handle statement of Netflix says:-

“We're sad that NBC has decided to take The Office back for its own streaming platform — but members can binge watch the show to their hearts' content ad-free on Netflix until January 2021”. 

After this post being updated by Netflix on their twitter handle,  it became one of the most trending posts and has been retweeted, commented, and liked by millions of users within just a few hours. 

Why this news became so viral, can easily be understood if you go through the history of  “The Office”. After it’s release on Netflix it has always been one of the most favorite shows for most Netflix users, and according to a survey, it was found that most of the users were using Netflix just because of this show.  In fact, in 2018, it was one of the most watched shows. Now, you may easily guess the craze of this show among the audience. 

The only probable way to enjoy this show after 2021, maybe that you may have to buy the new streaming service from NBC.
